Reach out
If you would be interested in arranging sessions together, or have any questions, please reach out.
It can be helpful to include your availability/preference for sessions. However, if you’re unsure we can discuss this during our introductory conversation and you’ll have time to think before committing to anything.
You can also find me and make contact through the Counselling Directory: here. This is a nationwide database of qualified counsellors and therapists.
I look forward to meeting you.
What happens next?
The first step is you reaching out and once I receive your contact, I will get in touch to arrange a free 30-minute introduction video call with you. This will give us the opportunity to speak about what you are looking for from therapy and the way I work. It'll also be an opportunity to ask any questions you might have.
From here we can decide on whether it feels like a good fit for us to work together. If so, we'll agree your session day and time and our first session together will be to review the contractual and business elements of our work and if not, I can help you to look at where you might want to go next.
Our weekly sessions would begin with me asking some foundational questions which help me get a picture of you, and it will also be an opportunity for you to tell your story. Over the first few weeks we will explore, create, and agree our therapeutic contract for change - a clarifying statement that will identify what you would like to get from our time together. During our session we will be able to explore the way you relate to the world around you. I will support you in understanding your life-script, ego-states, and empower you to reclaim autonomy over your here-and-now. I will also support you in development more robust coping strategies and building your confidence and skills of emotional regulation where needed.
My commitment is to work with you, not just for you. We'll be collaborative at every step, discussing what we're doing and why, clearly defining your needs, and contracting for the changes you want to achieve. The first step is for you to reach out.
